Do Bees Pee?
Join us on the farm September 12 at 11 a.m. to find out! Award-winning children’s book author Linda Booth Sweeney will join us for a reading of her new book Do Bees Pee? The Curious and Amazing Ways Nature Avoids Poo-lution. This playful, science-filled story helps kids discover nature’s brilliant closed-loop systems, where nothing is wasted and everything is connected, with a dash of potty humor. Signed copies of the book will be available for purchase.
After the reading, families can join a farm-wide scavenger hunt exploring how pollinators connect to flowers, crops, soil, and compost. We’ll also be joined by the CEO of Dean's Beans Organic Coffee Company, a B Corp coffee company building fair, regenerative supply chains with farmers around the world.
