Consulting Spotlight: Foundation Learning Co-lab
In an effort create a global learning community around systems for philanthropic leaders, I designed and led a three-year global learning collaborative for 10 foundations, including Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Health Foundation (UK), and JW McConnell Family Foundation.
The SUSI (Systems Understanding for Social Impact) collaborative combined immersive workshops, peer coaching, and hands-on practice. Together, we explored how systems thinking and systems change tools and frameworks could deepen impact, reveal leverage points, improve cross-sector collaboration and help philanthropic leaders lead change across intertwined systems like education, justice, industry, environment and health.
